Sandra grew up in Fresno County’s Calwa neighborhood, where her immigrant parents taught her the values of hard work and helping others succeed. Guided by those lessons, she has worked to strengthen Fresno County’s local economy, expand access to healthcare, and brought millions of dollars to support career training programs, local parks and trails, and afterschool art programs.  Sandra Celedon is a public health leader running for the State Assembly to fight for working-class families like hers.

About Sandra Celedon

Sandra is a lifelong resident of Assembly District 31 and the daughter of Mexican immigrants who came to the U.S. seeking a better future. Raised in the Calwa community of Fresno, she graduated from Roosevelt High School and earned a degree in public health from Fresno State. Sandra believes every family deserves the resources and opportunities they need to thrive.
